Riverland born and bred business owner operators Dan and Bec are coming home to set up shop in Berri with their insurance construction company. With the substantial growth of M&S Mackie, Dan Reiman and his partner Rebecca Sarti have chosen their home soil to expand.
Launching their Wilson Street office next month, the couple are looking forward to being part of the local community again and being a local, trusted insurance builder in the Riverland.
“It’s sometimes hard to believe that, since taking over M&S Mackie and merging it with our own company Iconic Interiors SA only three years ago, we have grown and accomplished so much. Bec and I are really excited about bringing our business home,” Mr Reiman said. “I’m originally from the Riverland, so old fashioned, country hospitality is very important to me, and so is making sure the process of insurance repair and restoration is as painless as it can be.”
Working with tradies they trust and offering 24/7 emergency service to their clients, Dan and Bec have grown M&S Mackie to a solid, reliable company providing construction and repair services to the insurance industry and offering the highest level of service, advice and workmanship.
In addition to building repairs and property maintenance, Dan and his team have an internal restoration division including services such as structural drying, mould remediation, flood extraction, smoke and odour control, contents management and secure storage.
The couple are looking forward to continuing this great work by expanding the Mackie family out into the area they love and working with local suppliers and clients in the Riverland.
“At Mackie, we treat our tradies like employees and our customers like friends. We want to keep insurance members, adjusters and our providers happy by giving customer service with a vintage vibe, back to the days where personalised service was a given,” Mr Reiman said.
“We want to continue being involved in the community by supporting local teams and associations, and giving back to an area we grew up in that gave so much to us. We’ve been sponsoring the Dinghy Derby for many years and we can’t wait to spread our community focus even further.
